“Von’s Bench” is a recently completed
commission installed at the Blue Star
Art Complex and overlooking the River.
The bench was commissioned by James
Lifshutz in honor of his late mother,
Yvonne Parks Lifshutz.
The bench is semi-circular with a 20’
diameter and 4’high, constructed of
concrete block and cement and clad
with sliced pebbles and ceramic mosaic
tile, honed marble tile and custom
ceramic letters. It was completed in the
fall of 2020.
