Inexperience and several early losses would normally discourage competitors in a rugged sport such as Junior Varsity Lacrosse; but a “ never say die” attitude charac terized the young stickmen as they looked to bounce back from a poor start.
Offensive players Charlie Michaud, Bob Smythe, Tim McAuliffe and Clark Bernales battled continually to place the ball within reach of the crease as they saw larger and more physical squads threaten their ambitions. With a great deal of effort and daily workouts, the Junior Varsity stickmen gradually saw the season take a turn for the better. A key win against General Brown saw the
