Appreciation of Art Is
Task of New Program
lAE promotes culture for Frosh
The Institute for Arts in Education is in its first year at CBA, but the heritage and beauty which it encompasses spans history. The hope of lAE was to expose the Fresh men to art in its many forms — including drama, visual arts and music. If awareness of certain art forms bring appeal, then the program succeeded. Mr. Brendan Charlebois who coordinated the program with Mrs. Anne Uva noted: “ We want to open their eyes so that they can appreciate art to a fuller extent.”
Directed by the Cultural Resources Council, the pro gram planned trips to the Everson, brought students to plays, and employed actors as teachers. Despite first time difficulties, everyone got involved and it was worth
