This year, the girls’ tennis team had an extraordinary season, especially for a first year team. Their only blemish wasa close 4-3 loss to state power and league rival J-D. Other than that, they had a perfect undefeated season, and placed only one point away from first place Skaneateles at the Section III playoffs, coming in a close second. At the play offs, Roselinda Barbuto and the doubles team of Florence Pojer and Beth Stor inge qualified for regional play.
As the season came to an end, the team resolved to beat J-D in 1989 and occupy a spot on one of the banners in the gym. Congratulations are well de served on a great season.
