The Junior Varsity baseball team had its ups and downs during the season, from an exciting 6-3 victory over E.S.M., to a dev astating 7-1 loss to Cortland. Overall, the team ended up with a 13-6 record, the best record for the team in many years.
Led by sophomores Devin Stelljes, Tony Tangorra, and Bob Kawa, the team earned a lot of respect from divisional foes. The de fense was led by freshman catcher Jeff Har rigan, who showed great experience behind the plate. The team had an explosive offense led by Paul Ciciarelli, Jose Colon, Kevin Cregg, and J.P. Pallone.
The team’s performance displayed great pride and desire in every game they en tered. Coach Conroy felt confident these players would be the stars of the future.
