 Running for the cross country team requires strength and endurance. De­ rek Seward takes a deep breath to pre­ pare him for his last lap.
Members of the cross country team always gave their best during their meets. The effort involved was ex­ hausting, as one can tell by the few who remain standing at the end of this particular meet.
Girls Grack
The 1991 Girls Track Team had a partially successful sea­ son. The team had only one win during the regular season. The team’s shot and disc thrower Marianne Oliva qualified for the sectional competitions, where she scored high. De­ spite the disappointing sea­ son, the team’s spirits were high throughout.

The 1991 Brothers outdoor Track team did not win many meets but was still able to ex­ cell in the post-season. The Brothers scored 26 points in the Class D Section III cham­ pionships, behind Justin Vi- anese’s 800 meters. Sectionals include: Matthew Demlein, 3rd, 800 meters; Pat Sears, 2nd, 100 meters; and Shawn Hanrahan,
6th, shot put.
