chapter, headed the group with the aid of faculty advisor Miss Limpert. The group con centrated on educating the school community about hu man rights violations around the world and working to free prisoners of conscience. Some

Art Club
In 1987, the Art Club was founded by a group of eighth graders who wanted to con tinue exercising their talents, and did not have an art class that year. By 1992, the Art Club had grown far beyond what anyone had expected, with members from all parts of the school. Few now remember that they owe this opportunity to a few eighth grade boys who wanted to draw. Members came in every week to do anything from clay sculpture to mural painting. As the foun ders leave sight and memory, our legacy is going strong and will last for many years to come.
