 Chorus
he 1991-92 chorus, with the f A guidance of Mr. Robert Car- aher had an excellent year.
From the first mass to the spring con cert, the power of song transformed our listeners. The chorus sang at all the school masses and and the family mass, and performed at the Christmas concert and the Spring concert. The music helped to transform the gym in to a cathedral as people joined in sing ing with the chorus. At the Christmas concert and subsequent performances at the Everson Museum the unified power and beauty of the full chorus amazed the listeners. At the spring concert Mr. Caraher took advantage of the special ability and power of this years singers to perform several songs with solo sections of the chorus. Next year may be rough as the senior mem bers leave the school, but more than likely Mr. Caraher will forge those that remain into a stronger whole in the years to come.
Drama
Cast year, the CBA Drama De partment presented the musi cal comedy, Fiorello on April lOth and llth at the Temple Adath Ye- shurun auditorium. Our own Mr. Mor- etti assumed the duty of director, and Brother Casimir and Mr. Caraher con tinued in their positions as producer and music director respectively. Sister Suzanne Dunn arranged the choreog raphy, and the department found a wonderfully capable stage manager, Maryann Oliva. Junior Michael Smith played the title role with help from supporting actors and actresses, Therese Cannucciari, Gemma Rossi, Romy Genant, Paul Falcone, Bo Bige low. Dan Lyskawa and Sam Mingolelli. A spectacular chorus filled out the cast.
Fiorello opened to a very receptive audience last year and we thank all those friends, family and alumni who supported it. Students are encouraged to feel the thrill on or off stage by joining the play as an actor/actress or off stage behind the scenes assistant. As Fiorello cast and crew members will tell you, the annual musical is a re markable team effort.
