Seniors in College
A Way To Get Ahead In Life
Each year many seniors at Christian
Brothers Academy decide to take "col
lege” level courses. These courses are
especially designed under college stan
dards that high school students take.
Many universities and colleges give
credit or exemption to students who
have taken Advanced Placement
courses. This gives an edge to students
in the competitive college atmosphere.
For example, some seniors take the
SUPA (Syracuse University Project Ad
vance) course, which meets several
college and university requirements
for calculus. Students who take this
course strive to earn credits which will
advance them in college to a higher lev
el. They then get a head start on their
future careers or goals.
Outside Miss Quilty’s office, the seniors seem in
need of guidance. Lounging in the Guidance Of
fice is a favorite senior pastime.
