their picture token. Apparently, DJ. Honold wosn't in
sync with his classmates.

Freshman Anxieties
For some Freshmen, making rhe rransirion
from Junior High ro High Schooi was rorher
difficuir. Others faced rhe grearer chailenge
of getting used ro o whoie new, different
schooi. Thor yeor, rhe incoming Freshman
class dealt and adjusted ro another yeor of
school rhor marked a new beginning in their
lives.
During rhe first week, Freshmen rook
some rime our in between classes to char
with old friends and get ro know new ones
while frantically running in hopes ro orrive
in class on rime. They also rested rhe po-
rience of some teachers ro rhe limit. Ir come
os a shock ro them when they realized rhar
another year was dawning.
Something wos olwoys raking place,
whether ir was someone getting in trouble
or someone falling in love. Down rhe cor
ridor girls could be seen discussing rhe loresr
gossip, or maybe a person rushing ro finish
last night's homework.
The year was a yeor of internal growth
and a new, yer weird, experience. For rhe
most parr. Freshmen realized rhar they were
no longer children bur young men ond
women, closer ro adulthood, they discov
ered a freedom never before known. And
so, another yeor was over, leaving o dis
tinctive mork in a never ending record.
