 Junior High Girls Go For
Basketball & Volleyball
The Girls Modified Basketball team
was comprised of twenty enthusiastic
girls with lofty athletic goals. Al­
though the majority of the team con­
sisted of seventh graders, there were
eighth graders to lead the girls to
victory. The team had a well bal­
anced group of girls with varying
skills, strengths, and weaknesses.

In only its second season, the Jun­
ior High Volleyball tarn proved to be
one of the most successful CBA teams.
The girls worked hard on their serv­
ing, spiking, and diving (ouch!) The
experience was the first of a team
sport nature for most of the players,
and they jumped right in with great
enthusiasm and spirit, the trademark

This young team won the 1990-91
League Championship, and were the
1991 Western Regional Volleyball
Tournament Co-Champions. Great
