Farmington Valley Chorus (continued)

Our last show of Christmas music was performed for the Sisters of Mercy in early January. ALWAYS
so wonderful to sing for those ladies. At the end of January we will be singing for the folks at Hoffman
Summerwood. Carols would be really awkward at that time so we’re clearing out the cobwebs from our
repertoire and running through those songs at rehearsals, as well as learning two new songs. Learning
new music is the best! Then we have another performance at Anthology in Simsbury in the beginning of
February. Congrats to our performance manager, Betsy, for promoting the heck out of us. Earning
money for Missouri this way is so much fun.

Speaking of fun and earning money– the next big fun thing in Farmington Valley is our annual Bunco

fundraiser. Plan to join us in Simsbury Saturday, April 20 at 6:30pm for a night of laughter and games,
and you may even be a big winner. Our website SingFVC.org will have more info soon. Then the
ultimate fun in Region 1 - Competition Weekend in May. Wahoo! Waves of Harmony will be breaking
all over Springfield as more congrats come rolling in. Look for us, your hosting chorus of sunny singing
sisters in our summer “suits”.
