Valley Chords Chorus (continued)
Last week, the Valley Chords had our first performance since Covid!!! Excited is an understatement,
when we were invited to sing for a luncheon crowd at our Rehearsal venue. That made an extra long
rehearsal necessary so we met in a local park and spent time making sure we were in performance mode
with our rep. We owe a huge thank you to our friends at the Bugbee Senior Center for being such a
patient, encouraging audience. We hope to be back soon!
The Valley Chords continue to be inspired by the efforts of our Region 1 management team to work with
us a smaller than ideal chorus. The resources brought to us like Travel in Tune, Pile of Craft, Maskerade
were pivotal in providing connections to Sweet Adelines during virtual meetings. That helped us keep
ourselves motivated and also to bring the excitement of barbershop singing to those who visited
throughout the virtual rehearsals. We were super excited to have LaLa and Sally Jeffrey visit us the other
night and as a result two potential members asked to audition soon. Thank you.
