Tags and Swipes, Fall 2021

Valley Chords Chorus

Exciting times are facing the Valley Chords right now. After meeting virtually from March 2020 through
June 2021, we have begun meeting in person. While precautions are still in our mind we began by
meeting outdoors in the parking lot at our rehearsal site are now moving back indoors trying to restore
normalcy.

During COVID our President Robyn Jacobs and our membership/media maven, Hannah Cerasoli
organized our time. We sang (not together,) we had many times of just staying connected, just talking
having fun nights of games, taking advantage of everything available online, from vocal and physical
warmups to enjoying performances. Using SAI and Region 1 resources and the efforts of Hannah who
found many fun things to bring to our meetings, we kept together, and welcomed visitors.

We had an absolute blast one week with Mo Field and Amelia during our Beatles Fun Night! And boy,
did they bring the fun! From the heated trivia competition to hearing wonderful live harmonies, we feel so
fortunate to have had this opportunity. You can't go wrong with the Beatles. Through it all, Hannah
kept our presence in the area through social media and we had many guests join us for coaching nights,
for fun nights and for the times we were meeting to sing and talk. The exciting news is that once we
began to meet in person, we have five potential members, two of whom plan to audition soon.
