Tags and Swipes, Summer 2024

From our Outgoing Team Coordinator

You never really leave a place you love. You take part of it with you and leave part of
yourself there.

I have spent quite a bit of time this past month thinking about my departure from the RMT and really
facing how I felt about that. It has been difficult to envision stepping away from this amazing group. I
have been on the RMT for 8 years this time, 4 as the Finance Coordinator and 4 years as the Team
Coordinator. I am grateful for the Region 1 members that have been a part of the RMT during those years
and I have come to know them so well; they mean the world to me. And it has a been a true honor to get
to know and work with so many members of the various choruses of Region 1. I have been a part of our
regional governance in the past and it is always very rewarding. And perhaps, I will be there again but for
now, I want to thank every member of Region 1, especially the members of the RMT for allowing me to
guide the group, for trusting me, for answering the call and mostly for being my friend. I have taken
with me so much from this experience and I hope in some way, I have left a small piece of me with you.
Know that my door is always open.

Now it is time to welcome Anne Wilson to the RMT as the Region1 Team Coordinator. Anne has so
much to offer the team and the Region. I know she will lead using her vast experience and with her heart.
