NO COFFEE?
I love the undercurrent coffee adds to almost anything
chocolate, from cookies to ice cream, so it made perfect sense
to add it to the chocolate crust. If you’re not a coffee drinker, or
even if you are, cold coffee may not be easy to find in your
house. Keep a jar of espresso powder on hand for any such
situation. Depending on how prevalent you would like the coffee
flavor to be, spoon anywhere from a teaspoon to a healthy
tablespoon of espresso powder into ½ cup boiling water, stir,
cool, and use in this recipe.
