Large eggs: Keep a dozen in the refrigerator.
Citrus fruit: I love the flavors of fresh lemons and oranges in cupcakes
and muffins. Store them in the drawer of your refrigerator for zest and juice.
Assorted nuts: Keep chopped pecans and walnuts and sliced almonds at
their freshest in the freezer. Lightly toast them or add them to the batter or
topping while still frozen.

pantry, including the ingredients needed to prepare most any of the recipes
in this book.
