This recipe has been in our family for many years, and I’ll admit these little
frozen cakes are sweet. But if served with unsweetened whipped cream, the
outcome is glorious: chocolate, cream, toasted almonds—all my favorite food
groups. Keep these in the freezer for unexpected guests—of course, they may
start visiting you more often!
