CATERPILLAR CAKE

You can feed a dozen party guests with this cute caterpillar, made of—what else
—cupcakes. Be as elaborate or as simple as you like with the decorations,
making the caterpillar come alive with bright candy sticks and gummy worms.

idea.
SERVES UP TO 12
Heavy cardboard
Aluminum foil
½ recipe Buttercream Frosting (page 318) or Cream Cheese Frosting (page 336)
Green food coloring
12 yellow cupcakes (see “the Cupcake Doctor says”)
24 hard round colorful candies, such as Skittles or M&M’s
14 candy sticks, each 2 inches long
