CUPCAKE PALETTE

At your next party for budding Michelangelos, provide paints for creating
masterpieces and a palette of cupcakes for noshing when the artistic endeavors
have been completed. This clever cupcake idea came from Anne Marie Cale of
Bearden High in Knoxville. I’ve described how to create one palette using six
cupcakes, but you can make as many as four palettes per batch of cupcakes and
frostings. Tint the buttercream as you choose, and for added fun, set up the
palettes with unfrosted cupcakes and let the partygoers “paint” them with their
own color choices.
