               Unable to leave well enough alone, I had to try a blond version of the Chocolate-
               Almond Cupcake on page 41. Don’t believe the blond jokes, for this is one very
               together cupcake with an irresistible orange flavor.































                     MAKES 18 TO 20 CUPCAKES (2½ INCHES EACH)

                     PREPARATION TIME: 25 MINUTES

                     BAKING TIME: 20 TO 25 MINUTES

                     ASSEMBLY TIME: 5 MINUTES




               20 paper liners for cupcake pans (2½-inch size)



               ALMOND FILLING:

               ½ cup almond paste (half of a 7-ounce tube, see “the Cupcake Doctor says,”
