Rum Butter

                 1/2               lb  unsalted butter
                 1                pkg  dark brown sugar
                 1                  c  rum -- 150 proof

               Leave butter at room temperature until soft.  Cream in sugar.  Add as much
               rum as it will absorb.  Serve with crackers
