Linda Seyler’s German 2 class recently
completed a unit on Germany’s most
popular sport, soccer. After mastering
soccer vocabulary in German, the
Broome High School students
researched one of Germany’s 16 major
league teams and presented their teams

match against Ambar Aguirre’s Spanish

students either playing or cheering. Final
score: Español 7, Deutsch 5.
