Staff Recognitions

Staff recognized included:
Skip Frye – athletic director and boys track coach at
Broome High School, won his eighteenth consecutive
Region championship. Sarah Justus – teacher at
Cowpens Elementary School, is the recipient of a
WISE grant for $3,680 for her project “Commit to be
Fit.” Tonya McCullough – teacher at Clifdale
Elementary School, is the recipient of a
DonorsChoose grant entitled “Having Fun in Science”.

Volunteer of the Year – the following school volunteers were recognized as the Volunteer of
the Year for their respective schools: Nicole McAmish - Cannons Elementary School; Laura
Bragg - Clifdale Elementary School; Ani Samargion - Cowpens Elementary School; Kristina
Smith - Pacolet Elementary School; Sandy Lanier-Greene - Middle School of Pacolet;
Tieranny West - Cowpens Middle School; Rosemary McCloud - Broome High School; Larry
Worthy - Broome High School – Athletics; and Amber Mooney - Broome High School – Band.

Retirees – the following staff will be retiring and were recognized for their years of service to
the District: Cannons Elementary School - Sharon Owen, Pamela Gardner, and Karen
Grimm; Clifdale Elementary School - Joan Greer, and Charlene Carrigan; Cowpens
Elementary School - Karen McGill, Shelley Sawyer, Jenny McNeely, Joy Humphries, and
Donna Sanders; Pacolet Elementary School - Dianne Arthur, Donald Murphy, and Pat
Langston; Broome High School - Dalene Parker; Daniel Morgan Technology Center - Alfred
Waters; Transportation - Tammy Millwood; District Office - Allen Easler and Margaret Hill.
