Middle School of Pacolet
Paying Thao and Lianna Reyes, both members
of The Chat and Chew Book club at Middle
School of Pacolet, won prizes after correctly
answering the questions from the book, A
Wrinkle in Time, by Madeleine L'Engle.
Rodney Goode, Assistant Superintendent for Pupil and
Personnel Services, and two Middle School of Pacolet
students participated in a Readers Theatre skit entitled “I
Have a Dream”. Mr. Goode portrayed a young Martin
Luther King as he was trying to decide whether to enter
the ministry or not….all gave powerful performances
inspiring their audience.
To help celebrate poetry month,
Kimberly McCauley, media specialist
at Middle School of Pacolet, taught a
lesson reviewing figurative devices that
are found in poetry.
Josiah Wright, a Middle School of Pacolet
Algebra I student in Sarah Cosner’s class,
volunteered to teach his classmates how to
find unknown angles from two parallel lines
cut by a transversal. He did a great job!
Middle School of Pacolet is gearing up for the
