Tonya  McCullough,  Clifdale  Elementary  School
       teacher,  is  the  recipient  of  four  DonorsChoose
       grants  “Seeing  First  Hand  How  Plants  React  to
       Habitat  Changes”,  “Books  for  Engaging  Read
       Alouds”, “A Home for our Class Pet”, and “Snacks
       to  Keep  My  Third  Graders  Brains  Moving  –  Part
       2.”. Her class has also been accepted to join the
       UNICEF  Kid  Power  Program  for  the  spring  of
       2018.











                                                          Mary  Camp,  a  teacher  at  Pacolet  Elementary
                                                          School, was selected to present her research at
                                                          the  South  Carolina  Educators  for  Practical  Use
                                                          of Research conference in Columbia.  The title of
                                                          her  presentation  was  “Multiplication:    Just  the
                                                          Facts!”





      Kyla Jeter, District Technology Coach and advisor for Pacolet Elementary School’s Tech
      Club,  is the recipient  of  a  DonorsChoose  grant,  “Student  Created Video Games  =  New
      Wave of Digital Storytelling.”

      Carmen-Rebekah  O’Dell,  Cowpens  Middle  School  teacher,  is  the  recipient  of  three
      DonorsChoose grants entitled “A Book a Day: Reading at Home and School”, “Sounds that
      Soothe: Sensory and the Arts”, and “#RealWorldProbs: Life Skills Instruction”.  She was
      also selected as one of 25 finalists for the Amazon DonorsChoose grant.  For this, she
      received  $100  towards  her  project.    She  is  also  the  recipient  of  a  Tenmarks  Education
      Grant and Google Coding in the Classroom Grant.

      Lisa Silver, Cowpens Middle School teacher, has been selected to be a lead teacher at the
      2018 Science P.L.U.S. Institute held in June at the Roper Mountain Science Center.


      All In Awards - The All In Award honors those
      who exemplify the district motto:  All in.  Every
      child, every day, whatever it takes.  The award
      is given out twice a year, mid-year and end of
      year.    Mid-year  recipients  of  the All  In Award

      Daniel Morgan Technology Center - Hollie Pennington; District Staff - Donnie Elder.
