CES continued


     Cowpens Elementary School third graders were
     committed to reaching their goals for the school’s
     monthly Reading Challenge.

















                                                         Students  were  allowed  to  select  a  prize,  if  they
                                                         correctly  answered  Black  History  questions  that
                                                         were announced on the school’s morning news.







     Stephen       Moss,      a    Daniel      Morgan
     Technology         Center       Culinary       Arts
     completer,  is  participating  in  a  work-
     based  learning  experience  at  Willy
     Taco.   Stephen,  a  member  of  the  2018
     Culinary      Arts     ProStart      Competition
     team, is  seeding  avocados  as  he  gets
     ready      to    prepare      40     pounds      of

                                                  Carolyn  Ridlehuber  is  completing  the  Daniel
                                                  Morgan  Technology  Center  Culinary  Arts
                                                  program.  She is participating in a DMTC work-
                                                  based learning experience at Taco Dog every
                                                  week day from approximately 10:00 a.m. until
                                                  noon.  Carolyn also works after school and on
                                                  the weekends.
