PES continued

To discover if the mass of two
substances change when mixed
together, Pacolet Elementary School
fifth graders made a solution of water
and powdered drink mix. They
enjoyed drinking their solution after
their discovery!

Fourth grade students from Pacolet
Elementary School enjoyed
participating in the Link Up concert at
Converse College followed by lunch
at the Beacon.

In the third grade math unit on
fractions, Pacolet Elementary School
students used pizza to represent how
iterations of unit fractions are used to
form larger quantities. In this picture,
students are showing that 4 sets of 1/8
is equivalent to 4/8 and 1/2.

Pacolet Elementary School students enjoyed
learning about different careers from guest
speakers.
