Fifth graders at Cowpens Elementary School took
part in a hands-on learning activity during their
Industrial Revolution social studies unit. Half of the
class colored snowman pictures individually, while
their classmates simulated an assembly line by
coloring just one part and passing it to their
neighbor for the next part. The groups then
compared which approach was the most
productive.
