Students at Cowpens Elementary School were
helped with their Santa Shop purchases by
friendly PTO elves.

For a project based learning activity, Cowpens Elementary School

kindergarteners learned about communities,
then worked together to make a model of a
town. In addition to houses, they included a
school, hospital, fire station, and other key
buildings, as well as street signs. To preside
over their town, they elected a mayor.

Cowpens Elementary School
fourth graders observed
millipedes as an example of
invertebrates. They observed the
physical characteristics that help
millipedes to adapt in their
environment, recorded their
observations, and made scientific
drawings. As a Relay for Life fundraiser, Cowpens
Elementary School students donated money
to wear their craziest outfits for Wacky Tacky
Day.
