Mrs. Rose Bridges, widow of a World War II Prisoner of War, spoke to seventh Middle School of Pacolet
graders at Middle School of Pacolet. She shared her husband’s story as well as
her experience in Japan as a guest of the Japanese Parliament in 2016. Mrs.
Bridges is the great, great aunt of Emalee Garner, a MSP student.

Clifdale Elementary School

Tonya McCullough’s third grade class at Clifdale Elementary School
loves receiving letters from their pen pals. This time there was a
special treat as their pen pals sent “Flat Stanleys” of themselves.
