2017-2018 members of the Middle School of Pacolet MUSE Machine Club hosted the
Emmy and IMAGE Award Nominee, Ms. Natalie Daise, an award-winning storyteller. Ms.
Daise told stories about the Gullah culture of South Carolina, taught some of the language
to the students, and sang songs in the Gullah dialect.

The Breakfast of Champions was recently held at
Middle School of Pacolet recognizing student
who exhibited the character counts word of the
month - friendliness. Students of the Month,
chosen by their homeroom teachers, have also
been recognized.
