Holly Jones’ sixth grade students at Middle
School of Pacolet participated in a PBL to
analyze the contributions of the Mayas,
Aztecs, and Incas, as well as, to see how their
cultures are similar and different from our
culture today. Students researched a specific
native group, then the individual research was
combined to create informational books on
these groups.

Danielle Stewart was Middle School of Pacolet’s
first winner of the, “Who Am I” bulletin

board. Danielle successfully identified the three
famous African Americans, that were featured. In
observation of Black History Month, there will be
three different African Americans each week.

healthcare workers.
