Pacolet  Elementary  School  students  enjoyed  a  trip  to
                                         Clemson University as part of the Reading Recovery program.




















     Tech  Club  students  at  Pacolet  Elementary  School
     enjoyed  a  trip  to  SEW-EuroDrive  in  Lyman  to  see  how
     they  use  robots  in  their  facility  to  help  them  build  gear
     boxes.



                                                              Pacolet  Elementary  School  held  a  pep  rally
                                                              to encourage third through fifth graders to do
                                                              their best on SC PASS and SC Ready tests.
                                                              Students in in kindergarten, first and second
                                                              grades  made  posters  for  buddy  classes.
                                                              Broome High School students made a tunnel
                                                              for  students  to  walk  through.  Top  scorers
                                                              from 2017 state testing threw pies at faculty!







     Broome  High  School  junior,  Janis  Parker,  has  been
     accepted  to  the  National  History  Academy  in  Virginia
     where  she  will  spend  five  weeks  this  summer  exploring
     history through "the power of place."

                                                        Megan  Chance,  Madison  Fowler,  Sydra
                                                        Hade,  and  Hannah  Norton  have  been                    Broome High School
                                                        selected  to  receive  the  SC  Teaching
                                                        Fellows       Scholarship.        This      $24,000
                                                        scholarship  program  is  highly  competitive
                                                        requiring the recipients to demonstrate high
                                                        academic achievement, a history of service
                                                        to their school and community, and a desire
                                                        to teach in South Carolina.
