Broome High School staff have really enjoyed their Teacher Appreciation Week!
Cowpens Elementary School
Cowpens Elementary School third grade
Atlas students are learning about the history
of the Cowpens area. With guidance from
Instructional Technology Coach, Kyla Jeter,
they created a virtual tour to share what they
have uncovered through their research.
Third, fourth and fifth grade students at
Cowpens Elementary School were entertained
and informed at their Prep Rally. CES teachers
and lower grade students, along with Broome
High School athletes and cheerleaders,
performed cheers and skits to persuade
students of the need to do their best on the SC
Ready and SC PASS tests. Rebecca Rabbit
and Tommy Turtle dramatized the need for
students to take their time on the tests when
Rebecca Rabbit’s speed resulted in a dismal
score.
Fourth graders at Cowpens Elementary
School created Postcards from Space. Each
student wrote descriptive information about
their planet’s size, composition and distance
from the earth and the sun. Then, through the
magic of technology, they captured
themselves with their planet.
