UNIFORMS (Students)
Students who are not wearing the correct uniform will be subjected to the SCPA/SASL Discipline
Matrix. Uniform shirts must be purchased through Aztec Graphix or other school-approved vendors.
Students wearing shirts not purchased through Aztec Graphix or other school-approved vendors will be
asked to conference with administration and a parent will be contacted in order to rectify and clarify
any misunderstandings outlined in the student handbook.
VIDEOS
Instructors wishing to show an instructional educational video or film must complete the Video
Authorization form and obtain authorization from administration. All videos must be approved by
administration prior to their showing. Instructors are to obtain Parental Consent from
parents/guardians for the viewing of rated PG, PG-13 and for the viewing of rated R movies in grades
9-12. All videos must be educational and instructional and content relevant. These restrictions also
apply for off-campus activities.
VOLUNTEERS
All school/class volunteers working in the building must complete a School Volunteer Program
Registration form. This form needs to be turned in to the Volunteer Hours Coordinator or the main
office. Pursuant to the Jessica Lunsford Act, individuals falling under certain categories must be
screened before they have access to students.
All parents/guardians of SCPA/SASL students must complete 20 volunteer hours to the school for
every student enrolled. Parents who are unable meet this contract requirement by the conclusion of
the school year may make arrangements for alternate means with the school administration. Parents
may also satisfy this requirement with a combination of volunteer hours and donations. These
situations will be handled on a case by case basis. Instructors are encouraged to create a “Wish List”
with items needed for classroom use and place the list on your webpage. If you receive an approved
donation, you must present the receipts with the volunteer form to the Volunteer Hours Coordinator.
