Palliative Care Summary
PHC/SJHC/SMH: Specialized, compassionate care that addresses the physical, emotional,
spiritual and practical needs of people experiencing the end stage symptoms of a terminal illness.
Our goals in caring for a person with a terminal illness and his/her family are to maintain comfort,
foster dignity and offer support.
Structure Finance Performance & Quality
• PHC has a standalone program; • No market share data • As a proportion of hospital
