to receive his throne, made arrangements that we would have his

person with us. And that our confidence could be in him as

Lord.

John 14:1 let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God,

believe also in me. John 14:8-9 Philip said unto him, Lord, show

us the Father, and it will satisfy us. Jesus said unto him, have I

been so long a time with you, and yet have you not known me,

Philip? he that has seen me has seen the Father; and how say

you then, Show us the Father? There is no other place to find

God but in his Son Jesus, he is the witness of the Father in the

flesh and the Father is his witness in the Spirit. John 20:27 then

said he to Thomas, Reach here your finger, and behold my

hands; and reach here your hand, and thrust it into my side: and

be not faithless, but believing. John 20:28 And Thomas

answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. At that

moment Thomas knew the Father was in the Son, because he

had reached inside of Jesus and touched God. After Jesus had

convinced them of these things he wanted them to know that his

Father and himself would return as the Holy Spirit, being one as

they were before was sent into the earth.
