4.Fasting by taking your cross
There is a fast that God has chosen, one of repentance, where a
man shall forsake everything, fasting from his pride, knowledge,
the law, the world, his desires, leaving the old for the new,
Matthew 16:24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man
will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross,
and follow me. Now turning to the grace Jesus alone has
provided by his shed blood, then shall we be made free. With a
circumcised heart of love the believer shall turn then to the
world carrying the gospel and seeing to the needs and finances
of the church. Then God will through his covenant of grace, see
to his every need. Jesus through us shall bring the kingdom of
God to the earth. Strengthen you the weak hands, and make firm
the feeble knees. Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be
strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance,
even God with a recompense; he will come and save you. Jesus
came with a face like flint; he was determined to fulfill the will
of his Father. His vengeance was upon Satan to take his
kingdom and utterly destroy it. The work was done, Satan was
cast out. And all who come to Jesus can be saved, even to the
uttermost. Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the
ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Then shall the lame man
