7.Protection from the Lord

We have a covenant, that the Lord shall protect us and get those

out of the way that seek to destroy us. It is the enemies of God

who will disappear from the earth.Behold, I will make you a

new sharp threshing instrument having teeth: you shall thresh

the mountains, and beat them small, and shall make the hills like

chaff. You shall fan them, and the wind shall carry them away,

and the whirlwind shall scatter them: and you shall rejoice in the

LORD, and shall glory in the Holy One of Israel. It is God who

makes our way to prosper. He will give us the tools we need to

do his work. By the fire of the Holy Ghost he shall burn up the

chaff and cleanse his church. By the power of his Spirit like a

whirlwind his holiness shall stir and scatter all who oppose his

Son. We shall rejoice to see his enemies under his feet. When

the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their

tongues fail for thirst, I the LORD will hear them, I the God of
