Differentiating Strengths
Briefly describe what differentiates your company from other suppliers in this
category and any areas of specialization your company supports.
Tactical Toolkit Process
Hello! Destination Management has invested a great deal in a unique Creative
Services strategy. For most DMCs, there are two general strategies for servicing
Creative events: 1) The AE is responsible for being the expert in all hospitality
services available in their market including transportation, dining, venues,
activities, tours, etc. as well as creative services (theme events). Since the creative
field is so highly specialized today, the result generally is that the AE depends
entirely on a theme prop partner for creativity. Specifically, they send the event
requirements to a prop company that creates the proposal with a priority on the
profitability of their décor inventory rather than the client’s vision. 2) Is for a
DMC to own its own decor. That structure results in the same conflict of
interest described above, as DMCs seek first to maximize their inventory when
considering client requests.
At Hello! we devise a means of ensuring our events are cutting edge while
maintaining a focus on our clients' needs. We employ event design
professionals in our respective offices who constantly scour the marketplace via
special event tradeshows and industry associations usually reserved for
production and event companies. We hold annual creative training retreats to
ensure our offices are sharing the latest trends, and we include our Creative
professionals in our AE training programs so they retain a client focus in
fulfilling their duties. This allows us to listen to our customers and create their
vision with unmatched expertise.
