           Featured Speakers





           The Bartow Art Guild meets at the Bartow Civic Center on the second
           Monday of each month from September through May. A meet and
           greet begins at 7pm and is followed by a special program at 7:30pm.
           The January-March guest presenters are:

           January 8. Stephen Koury will critique member's artworks. Stephen is
           a well-known wildlife artist from Lakeland whose paintings of birds
           and animals are highly popular and beautifully rendered.

                              February 12. Cynthia Haffy, Executive
                              Director of Platform  Art,  Inc., a  nonprofit
                              arts organization and community-conscious
                              collaboration of artisans and art lovers whose
                              ultimate goal is to showcase new and exciting
                              talent in the fields of visual arts, film, fashion,
                              music and performance.

                              March 12. Betsy Bohrer is a producer of fine
                              art shows, including the current "Fine Art at
                              the Magnolia" and "4 Squared Makers." As a
                              working artist, Betsy is experienced in street
                              festival arts and is now dedicating her talents
                              to helping and promoting local artists.
