A crafty fox fell into a well and could not get out.
Athirstygoat came past the well.
Goat:Is the water down that well good?
Fox: It’s the best water I have ever tasted. Come down and try it.
Goat:Thank you. I am so thirsty that I think I will.
Fox: There is plenty of water for you down here.
The goat slid down into the well and drank and drank.
Goat:Now how am I going to get out of this well?
Fox: I have an idea. You stand on your back legs then I will climb on
your back. When I am out I will help you out.
The goat did as the fox said but once the fox got out he ran away.
Goat:Hey, wait and help me out.
Fox: You should not have got into the well. Always look before you leap.
