           Activities  for  2  players

                                                                                This  is  our code.
           You  need:  4  dice  1- 6, each a  different
           colour; dice shaker

           Decide which dice will  represent the
           number of  1000s,  100s,  lOs and  ls
           and write down the colour code.
           You  could  use this one:









           Activity  1:  Find the totals

           o  Each take a  turn  to throw the dice and  make a  4-digit number.
              Make a  note of the numbers.

           o  In your books, both of you add the two 4-digit numbers together
              and compare results.
           o  If you  get different answers, try to find  out why.

           o  Repeat this until you  have made  10  different totals.
           o  Put the totals in  ascending order.






           Activity 2: Winning totals


           o  Use the same dice and decide

           o  The first player throws the dice
              twice to make two 4-digit numbers,
              and totals the  2  numbers.
           o  The second  player does the same.

           o  Add  up the digits in  your total  to
              find  your score for this round.

           o  Whoever has the higher score
              after 6  rounds wins.
