        Use a ruler to underline all the adjectives and adverbs in this passage.



           On a dirty track in the middle of a wide field stood a beautiful carriage,
           edged in gold. It was pulled strongly by six large, chestnut horses. The

           tall driver was on his back under the huge carriage. The horses were well-

           disciplined and stood obediently. They were waiting for the gentle voice
           of their faithful master.  He was patiently repairing a broken wheel so

           that the rest of their bumpy journey would be safe.
