English Year 2 - Summer - Enjoying Words
Follow the instructions below to make a Sounds Clock.

1. Cut out the circle and the arrow carefully. Stick them on to thin card.
2. Write any letter of the alphabet in each tiny ring around the clock. (One
is done for you.)
3. Colour the arrow then put a split pin through the end to join it to the
clock. (Ask for help from an adult to do this.)
4. Spin the arrow until it lands on a letter.
5. Say a naming word beginning with that letter.
6. Spin the arrow again and say a doing word beginning with that letter.
7. Spin the arrow again and say a describing word beginning with that
letter.
You could play this game with a friend asking them to say the name of an animal, a
fruit, a country or whatever else you can think of.
