Terms and Conditions
Delivery: 6 to 8 weeks from receipt of deposit. If approval drawings are required, delivery is after receipt of deposit
and confirmation of approval drawings.
Payment: 70% deposit, balance due Net 30 days shipment
FOB: Origin, Freight Collect
Price and Validity: Prices are quoted in US Dollars. Quote is valid for (60) days from quote date, unless otherwise
specified in Quotation.
Taxes: All Sales Taxes and Duties are extra where applicable.
Crating: Standard crating for North America is included.
Exclusions: Installation, start-up/commissioning, freight, crating, spare parts or other consumables unless otherwise
specified in Quotation.
Warranty: Shawpak and Horizon Equipment Company warrants each product it distributes to be free from defects for a period
of one year from date of shipment, or date of "ready for shipment" in the event that the purchaser delays acceptance of
shipment for an extended period for whatever reasons. Used or reconditioned equipment does not carry a warranty, unless
specified in the quote. Equipment within these warranties will be repaired free of charge and returned to the point of original
sale provided that:
1) Prior approval is obtained from Shawpak or Horizon Equipment Company The defective equipment is shipped to Shawpak at
the purchaser's expense with return freight pre-paid.
2) The equipment has not been damaged by misuse, neglect, improper operation, accident, or alteration; as determined by the
seller.
Except for warranties and agreements expressly set forth in writing, Shawpak or Horizon Equipment Company shall not be liable
for any representation or warranty of any kind whatsoever either expressed or implied. Shawpak and Horizon Equipment
Company assumes no responsibility or liability for any incidental or consequential damages caused by failure of any of its
products or accessories. THERE IS NO WARRANTY ON LABOR. During the warranty period, should it be necessary and in the
event that the purchaser cannot ship the equipment back to Shawpak for warranty service and a Shawpak or Horizon Equipment
Company technician is required to travel to the purchaser's location to service the equipment, the purchaser is responsible for all
expenses, including, technician's travel time, travel expenses, mileage, car rental (if required), and lodging (if required). Only time
spent on actual repair of equipment is covered under warranty. If it is determined that the non-performance is not the result of
the equipment provided by Shawpak and Horizon Equipment Company, the purchaser will also be billed for the time the service
tech spent on location. Consumables or parts with "wear and tear" characteristics are not covered under warranty. If you have
