    THE “NEW NORMAL”
Our faculty and staff went above and beyond to ensure our students continued to learn, grow, and connect with each other whether they were attending classes on campus, or remotely.
Biology students at the Upper School Miller Campus dissected an owl pellet as part of a unit on ecology, and thanks to a high-resolution doc camera, every student had a personal experience with the dissection. Students learning from home were able to complete a virtual version of the lab while observing alongside their classmates who were on campus.
Students, faculty, and staff across all divisions continued to have fun with spirit weeks, theme days, and special celebrations including World Smile Day, Random Acts of Kindness Week, and Halloween.
Fourth graders made the best of wearing their masks and worked on perfecting their “smeyes,” also known as smiling with your eyes. Students used Flipgrid to record themselves smiling with their eyes while wearing their masks.
