Throughout the year, students and faculty took our community on a journey of cultural competence, both in-person and virtually. From Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month and Women’s History Month, to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Day, Hanukkah, and Kwanzaa, we honored people, holidays, and traditions from various cultures. Through read-alouds, follow-up conversations
and activities, special guest speakers on Zoom, researching and creating presentations, facilitating panel discussions, and more, students celebrated the proud cultures and heritages that make up our vibrant community.
