Woodside Bible
Church is the BEST!
A part of Woodside Bible
Church’s mission is to “reach
the world for Christ” and
through their partnership with SCAN THE QR
Samaritas, they continue to CODE TO VIEW
reach out to find creative ways
to support some of the most UPCOMING
vulnerable people we serve.
True to this spirit, Woodside FOSTER CARE
hosted a foster care picnic on ORIENTATIONS
August 18 at their Troy location,
which offered a fun, carnival
like atmosphere for foster kids
and their foster families.
We were lucky enough to have
blue skies as our background
while children received back-
to-school backpacks, gift
certificates, and various prizes – all given through the generosity
of the Woodside Bible Church community. The grateful smiles of
children and families were expressed to the dozens of Woodside
volunteers who made sure that the various games and activities
were set up and ready for fun.

From face-painting to a giant Jenga set, there was a flurry of
activities that worked up an appetite for the yummy offerings of a
Mexican food truck.
As Woodside’s Assimilation and Outreach Pastor
Felix Quinones led our group in a prayer of thanks,
it was a great reminder of the gifts we can share as BE A FOSTER PARENT!
community with those who just need a little bit of
joy. Thank you, Woodside!

Foster Care Gets
A New Look
Scott, from Woodside Bible
has completed his mural in
the Troy office foster care
visit room last night. It was
a true labor of love and
he spent many hours and
late nights working on this
project. Give him a shout out
